Ward
More About Ward
Anyone looking for puppies could not do better than Patterson and Ward. They are two tiny bundles of pure puppy joy. They are puppy perfection–sweet, loving, playful, easy to train, and cute as they can be. They are estimated to be about 12 weeks old. We aren’t sure what breed they are but they appear to have Cairn and some other small breed. They were found running down a busy highway by a good Samaritan who contacted Col. Potter.
The puppies seem to be house broken. But being puppies, a new owner should expect that a little more training may be necessary. They love to play and need a good variety of toys. Ward loves to play fetch and will bring the toy back to you over and over again. He never gets tired. They both love attention and will run to get in your lap if you sit down, especially Patterson. Patterson is the most loving and Ward is the most playful, so far. Patterson will roll on his back as soon as you touch him because he LOVES belly rubs. If Patterson is on your lap, Ward will try to get up there for cuddles too. They don’t push each other away, they love a great big group cuddle.
Patterson and Ward are very bonded to each other. They have most likely taken care of each other through difficult times. It’s amazing that they both survived their ordeal. Ward seems to be very protective of Patterson. They get upset if one gets taken out of their area or in a different direction on a walk. It would be wonderful if they could stay together. If it becomes necessary, they could be separated if the new home has a young dog in the house.
