More About Nina

Say hello to sweet Nina. She was a former CP dog who came back into the fold after her former owner became ill. Nina quickly adapted to life in her new home where she is not allowed to pee on a pee pad but has go to outside, which she seems to now enjoy. She is wary of men, even if they come bringing treats, and loves to be where the women are. She has clearly been someone’s baby, and wants to sleep on a pillow in bed with her person all night. She loves to eat, is indifferent to toys, and gets along with other dogs no problem. She is reported to get along with cats, though this has not been confirmed in person. She is fast as lightning and sits as hard and fast as she can for her dinner. She is always watching the goings on around her, and is ready to hop up and follow you from room to room. She allows the man of the house to take her on walks, where she sniffs and sniffs, but is clearly happy to come back home. She gets more playful with each passing day, and I think she would do well in a house with a younger dog who wants to play. You would never guess Nina is 11, she acts like a much younger dog, and can hop up on our tall bed without using the bench most fosters have had to use. Nina is all ready to be the center of someone’s world, and give love and kisses to her new person. She will always love her previous owner, but has a heart and soul big enough for more love with someone who loves her back.
