UPDATE 10/23/2024: Hi all you potential forever homes. Just got done with a walk. I love to go on walks with my foster parents, smelling all those good smells. Even if I would like to chase a squirrel I see, if my mom tells me to leave it, I just continue walking. As you can see by my picture I love belly rubs. I get them almost every time I’m on my foster dad’s lap. I love snuggling up next to people in the evenings. I love attention! My foster parents say I’m smart and learn things fast! I’d love to snuggle with you in my own forever home.
UPDATE 10/7/2024: Hello all you dog lovers, I’m ready to be in my forever home. And I love people and attention. In fact since I love all the attention and don’t interact with the resident dogs here, I’d prefer having all the attention and love you can give me. Oh, I definitely don’t like cats. My foster parents say I have a high prey drive, and love to go after the many chipmunks and squirrels. We live in a wooded rural area with many acorn trees, so we have lots and lots of squirrels. So I can have selective hearing when my Foster mom and dad want me to come in from our fenced in backyard. I sure love to lay beside you and love all your attention an any other people we have met. Many times in the evening I sleep beside my foster parents when they watch TV or am reading a book. I’d like to be sleeping beside my forever home people or being petted. Oh, I do like toys also.
UPDATE 8/22/2024: Madelyn’s a creative 7 year old mixed breed. She has a mind of her own and loves to “talk” to you by chomping her teeth. It’s a cute little gesture that will definitely get your attention. She loves being the center of attention and would prefer to be the only pet in the household. She’s looking for a family that is home most of the time so she doesn’t have to be in a kennel for too long. She knows some tricks and would love to show them to you!
